Room 11 Term 2
17th Dec 2025
We have had lots of great fun this term in Room 11. The boys have worked hard and will be well deserving of their break for Christmas. Some of the highlights have been.:
History Project. The boys produced a project which looked at the history of O'Connell's Schools. We had a very important visitor to the class room Mr O'Keeffe, the past principal, came in and shared his knowledge of the history of O'Connell's
We also had fun in Science where the boys learned how electrical circuits work and they then worked together to build their own electrical circuits. Hopefully we have a few budding young sparks among us
.In maths the boys really enjoyed the activities for symmetry.
As a part of music, the boys have been learning how to play the Ukulele and have learned how to playing tunes using bells and chime bars
A special mention must go to the superb effort that the boys put into the Christmas Show, the performance was unbelievable. If the Late Late Toy show are looking for performers next year they should pay a visit to O'Connell's!
