Our trip to the Zoo🦁
10th Sep 2025
Room 7 along with the boys from room 8 went on a trip to Dublin Zoo today. Although the weather wasn’t great we still made the most of it and had a great time looking at and learning about all the animals. The sea lions, penguins and lions were a big hit!
Some fun facts we learned were:
1. Flamingos lose their pink colour if they don’t eat the correct food such as shrimp.
2. Elephants use mud and water as sun protection - it sticks in the grooves of their skin.
3. California sea lions can swim up to 40km/hr.
