To celebrate Intercultural Week this week, we were given the country Mongolia to research. We located the country on the map, looked at some of their famous landmarks and admired some of their beautiful architecture. We learned how to say:
- Сайн уу - pronounced 'Sain uu' (Hello)
- Баяртай - pronounced 'Bayarchai'(Goodbye)
- гуйя - pronounced 'Guiya' (Please)
- баярлалаа - pronounced 'Bayarschlaa' (Thank you)
We tried out some Mongolian tea, sweets and snacks that one of our students kindly brought in.
One of our students also dressed up in his National Georgian Dress to celebrate.
